We're currently looking for a sharp, energetic and ambitious individual to join our team as EMEA Sales and Marketing Director. The Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for managing the Company’s sales operations for Europe.

Duties:

Primary and Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a Sales team based across Europe.
  • Increase appropriate business with existing customers and generate new business opportunities.
  • Achieve sales targets and company growth objectives.
  • Take responsibility for achieving resolutions for customer issues in conjunction with the Account Manager. Encourage Account Managers to think for themselves and have a positive input or take control of the solution.
  • Maintain awareness of internal issues and encourage Account Managers to resolve issues in conjunction with guidance from the Sales Manager, when necessary.
  • Regularly review commercial parameters set (in terms of customer profile, number of accounts held, customer revenue targets and ensure that these are adhered to) and apply these during account reviews and new account sign off.
  • Regularly review sales performance (in terms of customer profile, number of accounts held, customer revenue targets etc) and ensure that these are all being achieved. Identify training needs and effectively coach all team members, as required.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, participate in team activities and work one on one with your team.
  • Ensure that business is conducted in an ethical, appropriate manner and the highest level of customer service is being offered.
  • Drive revenue and sales to meet personal and company targets through prospecting, active funnel management, accurate weekly forecasts, and closing business.
  • Achieve/ maintain rapport with customers and work to give them the best possible service whilst raising awareness of the company’s services.
  • Develop and close sales opportunities – effectively managing the sales process from conception through to ensuring successful implementation.
  • Manage the process of organising exhibitions and seminars throughout the year; perform product/sales presentations at user group meetings.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of the industry.

  • Must be an experienced senior sales professional with a proven track record of revenue growth and building teams
  • Exposure to both direct sales and business/technical solutions environment is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate creativity in identifying and developing business opportunities.
  • Must be able to demonstrate exceptional contract negotiation and closing skills.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
